Maxim Dorneval, the founder of MAXIM FITNESS, has over 20 years of valuable experience in the health and fitness industry. His goal as an entrepreneur is to have a fitness facility where clients would have a unique, fun, and motivational training experience. He has assembled a team of dedicated individuals and together, they are committed to helping clients to achieve their fitness goals. The team is composed of certified personal trainers with many years of professional experience and a background in health and fitness education. MAXIM FITNESS has been in operation for over 10 years and continues to service clients in the Thornhill/Markham community and surrounding areas.

Romina is a corrective exercise specialist and personal trainer at MAXIM
FITNESS. She has over 9 years of experience specializing in Corrective
Exercise, Injury Prevention, Pain Relief, Functional & Sport Specific
Training and Weight Management.
Romina has a passion to help people live a happier, healthier lifestyle.
She believes change is a process and it can be difficult and frustrating
but she is ready to support her clients every step of the way to achieve their
fitness goals, in the simplest, most realistic way.
She grew up with a healthy and active family who taught her important skills;
how to make better choices for mental and physical health. It was the start of
her journey into the world of fitness and from there she wanted to share her
valuable skills with clients to be healthy and enjoy life at the same time.
Owner and founder of Gold Standard Physiotherapy, Daniel Negro is registered
with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He has over 15 years of
clinical experience, completing his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
at D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, and his undergraduate degree in
Kinesiology at York University.

Daniel’s experience includes outpatient orthopedic practice in Canada and
the United States, where he has completed many continuing education courses in
the areas of manual therapy, functional exercise, sports
medicine, acupuncture and dry needling. In addition to treating
patients, he is a member of the Discipline Committee of the College of
Physiotherapists of Ontario.
Due to Daniel’s involvement in Japanese Jiu Jitsu for the past 25 years, he
has a special understanding of martial arts injuries, along with athletic
injuries in general. He is the Physiotherapist for the Canadian Japanese Jiu
Jitsu Alliance, Greater Toronto Jiu Jitsu, and the Scarborough Japanese Jiu
